SHAVING...I have posted several times about what age is the "right" age, etc...as my soon to be 5th grader has been bugging me to shave since last summer.
My ds is 10 now and other than the gender difference looks just like me. I see his legs and it takes me back to that age. I was looking at his hairy legs the other day and remembered why I hated my legs so much as a girl.
I say let her shave them. It's not too early in my opinion since it is bothering her.

I think I'll post a tentative congratulations to you and her for getting to this milestone.

My soon-to-be 12 yo dd has noticed the other girls are shaving, but isn't interested yet, although I would let her. She is somewhat hairy ;-), but it's not too dark or too noticeable.
The big question always is - what method? Razor? What kind? electric? Please let us know what worked well for her.
I think you made the correct decision. It's a shame they want to start so young, but I don't think this is a battle worth fighting, esp. if it bothers her.

We went with the small oval Gillette razor(can't for the life of me think of what the actual name is)...I felt it was small and easy to hold on to for her.
