need to dress up? With Thanksgiving and Christmas upon us, I'm trying to figure out what it would be appropriate for Evan to wear. He usually wears slightly baggy jeans and layers a t-shirt under a polo. When we go to church, he wears a khakis and again a t-shirt under a polo. I'm thinking maybe a half-zip type nice sweater with a nice shirt underneath. He's pretty fashion concious (God forbid he look like the geek he really is underneath) and makes great choices on a daily/casual basis. The older boys at church aren't anything to use as an example. They dress worse than he does! I know I should let him choose, I'm just looking for a direction in which to steer him if at all possible. This is soooo tough. Just about a year ago, he would happily wear a suit to church EVERY Sunday. I miss that! Now I have to remind him to take his knit cap off when he's inside

Sorry I can't help, I am still very much enjoying that Caleb will wear whatever I lay out on his bed for him. Good luck with that!

A polo with a tshirt underneath would be dressed up here.

If you can get him to wear the sweater with the khaki's that would be great. But if not a nice clean T under a polo would be okay I think. No one really expects boys to be in shirts and ties anymore.

Chris is a skateboarder. If I could get him to wear a polo/tshirt with baggy khakis I'd be overjoyed.

Well, if you have him wearing khakis, you're doing pretty well!
