board game? We've been watching WAYYYYY too much tv lately and last week Evan suggested that we play a board game. We played Blokus and had a GREAT time. I looked at our other games and realized almost all of them are two player games. I'm looking for something we can all play (kids are 8 and almost 12) that isn't never-ending (like Monopoly).

Any ideas?

We love parcheesi....it's kinda like sorry. We also like the game called True Colors...you get to know what others think of you...fun. Some of the cards are geared to adults only so you have to be careful. Yatzee is fun too! And then there's always card games.

Oh, we LOVE games around here! I love any of the Cranium brand games: Conga is probably the favorite but all we have are used frequently. Set is fun, there is a new board game version of it called Set Cubed. My dd and I play Mancala frequently, and we like card games of all kinds. Loaded Questions (we prefer the Jr. version), is HILARIOUS, but best done with a larger group of people (6 is best). Other group games that we love are Apples to Apples and Kids Battle the Grownups. We actually like the Lego games, Creator is probably our favorite, and one we choose often. I love the old fashioned games too: Clue, Life, etc.

We obviously have a lot of games, but those are probably favorites. We also have a marble game that is a huge favorite but I don't know what it's called, we bought it at a craft fair, it's really fun and lasts forever.

We used to have a game night once a week, I made sandwiches and we played games, then my son turned into a teenager and got too cool for us. Maybe I need to try again, he seems to be more receptive to family stuff lately.

Skip Bo, Clue and Yatzee (well, I like it...Kurt tolerates it. LOL) We also play cribbage, Trivial Pursuit and Rumoli, which is super fun, but best with lots of people. In our case, there are only the two of us, so that narrows our options.

We like Sorry and Clue a lot. Also BS (we call it bologna sandwhich) and spoons are both fun. One of our family favorites though is Racko which is a lot of fun and easier for younger kids. Only four players though.

I have heard a lot of fun board games. How about a puzzle that everyone can work on. In a place that is out of the way. Or card games. my family loves cards and dominoes. something. Have fun
