I was just wondering if your tween/teen is going trick or treating what are they dressing up as? Quinn & his posse (as I call them) were going to all dress as the members of Kiss (with Quinn being Gene Simmons). They had talked about it last year & mentioned it a few weeks ago, now they have changed their minds. (Wishy washy. Not sure why.) I thought that Quinn would still be Gene Simmons like he was last year, but now he said he's going to think of something else. I know what is going to happen. He's going to wait until the last minute & I'm going to have to think of something. Oh, well. It won't be the first time & I do good under pressure. For example: a couple of years ago, he waited until the afternoon of Halloween to tell me he was going trick or treating. I had like 2 hours or less to come up with something. I was not willing to go to the store. So, he dressed up as a homeless guy (jeans w/holes in the knees, flannel shirt, truckers cap). He carried a cardboard sign that read 'Will work for candy'. I know...The flight of the homeless isn't funny, but the costume was.

Well, Hannah was Princess Aurora last year. Her costume still fits so I didn't want to get another one. But instead of being Princess Aurora she wants to be a zombie princess so we are making her up like a zombie in the same dress.

Kristen is going out and is a medieval lady. I made the dress but now they are saying rain and she can't fit extra clothes under the dress so I'm not sure what we'll do. I might run out and see if I can buy some cheap fleece or fake fur and whip up some kind of makeshift cape to wear over it. I was so hoping for another beautiful Halloween night as we've had the last two years, but at least its not going to be 34 F and rain like a couple of years ago. Lordy trick-or-treating in Canada can suck.

Yes, Kayleigh is definitely still going trick or treating, and she has a pirate costume.

My 12 y/o is going as Lil' Jon (the rapper). My 9 y/o is going as a scary monster thing. Long black robe, some type of weapon-bloody ax or other assorted things from our Halloween box, and a scary mask with long black and gray hair.
