It's a couple of weeks away? Do you do anything special or is it just another day?
Do you buy for the kids, DH, SO?

I bought Jordyn a card the other day, and I am going to stop and starbucks and pick her up a spring coffee tumbler she liked. I am making DH a small paint can filled with funny valentine's day stuff, a heart pez dispenser, a set of those lovers dice, some valentine's chocolates, and a few other fun stuff to send to him on Wednesday. I hinted that he could just as easily order me flowers over the internet from Iraq as he could from here in town, but I don't expect to actually get anything while he's over there. This year it will mostly just be another day.

For me Valentine's a kid's holiday, like Halloween. I try to make a nice dinner (maybe red), we make some kind of heart shaped dessert and I get her a gift. But that's it. She is getting her braces the next day so maybe will have something nutty and gooey. LOL

It was never a big deal when I was with ex. We got each other a card and maybe

We buy little things, but we don't go out to eat. I love eating out, but I rather do it when it's comfortable and not chaotic.

I have a few cute little knickknacks that I decorate the house with. I usually get each kid some chocolate and a small gift..one of the $5 T-SHIRTS from Target for her and something goofy for him. DH will get a card and a homemade chocolate dessert. I don't like fighting crowds of people for a 'romantic' dinner out so we just stay home. I may make a really nice dinner but he'd probably better not cross his fingers since I work until 5pm that day! HAHA!!!

We get candies and a small gift for the kids. Dh and I will go out for dinner but not on that day; the restaurants are always too busy.

I usually get some fancy chocolates for Dh, candy and something small for the kids - probably movie theatre gift certificates so we'll have something to do over Feb. break.

DH & I usually wait until another day to go out & eat or do anything romantic because its just so darn crowded & prices incredibly inflated. He does usually get cards & chocolates for all us gals then a rose or a dozen roses (depending on his mood & wallet I think ;-) I'll buy him a card as well as the girls plus candy.
