I believe that you haven't seen any such ads or notices.

~I would make the exact same arguments that she has (that the extent of DS is hard to tell in utero or at birth; that people with DS will never have a normal life), yet I would not abort a fetus for DS.~

Me, too.

>>The positive side is that you will have a baby. What is the positive side of aborting any/all fetuses that are not healthy? <<

well the depends on the disease/disability. In some cases the positive is that your child would not die a slow and painful death. That you will not spend days/weeks/months in the hospital watching organ after organ fail. You will not hold them as they cry and there is nothing you can do about it. I could get more graphic than that but I am pretty sure you get the idea. Sometimes death is a mercy IMO

When you address the rest of the points in my post, instead of just picking and choosing, I will answer your questions.

Thanks.

But you said >>>>The positive side is that you will have a baby. What is the positive side of aborting any/all fetuses that are not healthy? <<<

any/all would encompass more than just DS and the extent/severity of DS is not determinable in utero. Some DS babies are born critically ill.
