Late term abortions are not entered into lightly. I have yet to hear of a doctor who will do one just because teh pregnant woman changed her mind and doesn't want to be pregnant . the catalyst for that decision is generally catastrophic

Addressing the article itself...I'm not seeing a lot of "absolutists" about late term abortions on healthy pregnancy that this author seems to imply are out there - just two essays. The others are talking about women who are going in for the vast majority of abortions - which are 12 weeks and under.

I agree, it seems like a kind of concocted issue, since the majority of women seek and get their abortions in the first trimester.
