Have you talk to someone that feels like a walking breathing aborted fetus? Do you know how it feels to be a walking breathing aborted fetus? No? Well let me clue you in..

I was born to a mother who was deathly ill. The doctors told her that if she had me she would die. More importantly, they told my parents that if they did have me I would have mental and physical problems. Did any one listen... nooo... they had to save me at all cost when I was still just a dream in my moms tummy. Why? if you know there is something that is going to go wrong with the child mentally and physically would any one condemn someone like me to a walking breathing aborted fetus hell? Why are people so selfish... I have always wished I was born to some one else who's health was at a point I would of came out normal. butt... nooo... can't have that they had to make me be born in my mothers dysfunctional body and waa laaa today I am living in helll... Gee thanks guys...My mother being catholic believe in my birth and her death. The problem came about when they started feeding my mother drugs to keep her alive while I grew in her tummy. The outcome she died

Lei

I am deeply sorry for your handicaps/illness.

I'm not sure what the point of your post was.

This is a debate board.

Do you want us to debate the choices that your mother made? Do you want to debate the idea that women should be "forced" to abort if they are told that the fetus would grow into a child that will face hurdles and difficulties? I think that you would find it difficult to find anyone here that would argue with her choice. Those that are PL would probably say that the fetus (you) have the right to be born and those that are PC would most

My point is abortion should be left to the woman.

Her mother was Catholic (as indicated in her initial post) and didn't *really* have a choice.

Abortion is legal in all 50 states, therefore it is left to the woman.

Do you believe it is selfish and in your opinion *wrong* for any woman to carry a disabled child?

<Her mother was Catholic (as indicated in her initial post) and didn't *really* have a choice.>

Sure she did. There are many Catholics that are prochoice.
