I believe in abortion for the following reasons
- 1 For any reasson the mother feels is valid
- 2 For extreme financial circumstances and reasons 3-5
- 3 For extreme Psychological conditions and reasons 4&5
- 4 In the case of rape and reason 5
- 5 In cases where its deemed medically necessary to save the womans life
- 6 Never
- 7 Other

Misa, so not in the case of rape? What about incest/rape? Or a young child 8/9 who would have serious health risks, but probably not death.

Seriously I can understand why the option needs to be available for rape due to the long term psychological and physical repercussions (esp for very young victims) however I am still unable to get behind it 100% from a moral standpoint. I am not sure that having someone harm you makes it right to harm another.

Ya, more what I was looking for is from a legal standpoint "do you believe abortion should be available for the following reasons:"
Legally I see no point in putting restrictions on first trimester abortion so I guess the answer is yes.
I mean it is essentially a useless gesture (illegalization) that allows us to sit back and feel superior to those who would abort because we can then classify them as common criminals. It does nothing to offer protection to the unborn or to give the gestating woman the support she needs to be able to continue. It does not lower the abortion rate nor does it address the underlying issues.
For me first trimester abortion will always be a moral/ethical rather than legal issue so that is why I answered it as such.

1) in cases of Rape
2) to save the mother's life - one life is not worth more than another and a choice must be made between the two.
