I'm a bad PLer

ok so I have many times over the last 6 years participated in an abortion debate om one board or another. I am not much of a fence sitter (well except in a few cases like selective reduction) and thought I have always been clear on my views.
However i have many times been accused of not being a "real" PLer, having screwed up priorities, not caring about the babies etc from other PLers. Now I don't get this. I put a lot of time into trying to stop unwanted pregnancy, sex education, and more support programs for victims of domestic abuse. Heck I have even went so far as to say yes to 2 friends who asked if I would take the baby should they ever have an accidental pregnancy. I don't see how I could get more serious than that.
Why is it that *some* PLers seem to think that because I don't agree with certain tactics some groups use or because I am willing to respect people who have a different opinion it means I feel less strongly about it??
Ok sorta just a rant. But if anyone can answer my questions have at it.
PS this was not directed at any individual but rather about 100 individuals I have dealt with since coming to Ivillage. If you think this is about you ............. well you're wrong
