I think this was missed hidden in another thread - so I though I would post it here.

Sure it is possible and probably probable. No one side of any issue has a monopoly on lairs and manipulators. That doesn't mean either side as a whole is based on lies though

Of course it's possible that the facts were exaggerated to bolster support. As I said before, it's much harder to analyze/manipulate current data than data from the past. We have a much better idea now of how many illegal abortions were performed in the U.S. than we did at the time, because we have easier access to data and have better understanding of how to interpret it.

Your inference, however, that it was mostly made up is probably not correct either.

Is it not posible that some lied as to support or bolster support for legalized abortion?

I don't believe we have full and complete stats or that we ever will but I believe people are more likely to admit it now that fear of prosecution has been removed. While it may have been a crime there will be no legal repercussions so no real reason to fear admitting it. Some will still go to their graves/went to their graves with their secret though and the data will ALWAYS be incomplete

So, do you believe the stats of abortion related deaths prior to RvW?

I am wondering what the restrictions are on flights out of Ireland.

I wasn't aware that I had to debate with you to post on a topic that I know a little about. You are already aware that I am not going to enter into a discussion with you. However, that isn't going to stop me from discussing a topic of interest with other posters.
