According to a new Gallup poll, the number of Americans who identify themselves as pro-choice has fallen to 41% :

This greatly concerns me and I worry about the possibility of Roe vs. Wade being overturned in the future. Especially if the GOP wins the upcoming election. :smileysad:

I share your apprehension, but I believe this is a labeling and perception problem. 

From the source material, the actual Gallup poll publication, further down they assess not what label people are calling themselves, but what legal access or restrictions they support. 

 

As with many "liberal" positions, we have a branding problem.  People are somehow more afraid to call themselves "feminists", "liberals", "prochoice" .. and yet if you study whether they support equal pay on the dollar, right to individual expression and religious views, and legally protected access to abortion - it's not going out of style.
