If anyone wants to play along. Are there any reasons you would have an abortion yourself? What would be a deciding factor to you?

I am asking because along with PL's on this board there are PC's who are PL for themselves. We also have CFBC, TTC, pregnant, and people with completed families so I thought it would be nice to see how much variance there would be in the answers.

I would like to do this without attacking other peoples hypothetical choices but as I know that may not happen I completely understand people not wanting to partake.

Aw, thanks! I can't believe Chris is going off to college in the fall! He's going to major in Emergency Management, with an eye toward the Dept of Homeland Security, FEMA or being an Air Marshall. He scored a yearly renewable Presidential Excellence Scholarship that will really help out on the tuition front- and I am so grateful that after years of emphasizing his education, and him working really hard, taking some tough AP courses and persisting, that someone else thought he was special enough too!
Alexa is a little brainiac, and i hope she says as sharp as she is now.She leans toward scientific fields so far.
Zack is our original, LOL. HE culd give TWO hoots about school, only consented to lean to read when he was ready and because he wanted us off his back- but it's still "stoopid" in his estimation. He'd much rather sit and put his Radio Shack wires, buzzers, sensors, lights and alarms together and hook them up to battery supplies, LOL. He's very mechanical, and exceeding interested in all things electrical. Even his teacher has remarked about it. When he smashed his thumb in the car door a few weeks ago, we had to take him in to relive the pressure. Now, instead of a drill, they use a little battery=operated device the size of a pen. HE asked the doctor if it was like a solder gun, LOL. Then when he saw it, he made the doctor demo it, asked 50 zillion questions and told him that was a heating element". Blew his mind. But he really isn't at all interested in school studies and has a real tude about it.

Now I'm heading down to check out YOUR Mommy-brag!

Howie is a pretty great big brother. He wants to help me change her diapers which usually results in 10 diapers and every wipe in the container being strewn across my living room, and we did have to make a hasty trip to the ped because of some head butting that occurred while he was trying to hug her during a diaper change, but it's still cute. She went to daycare with him for three hours one week so I could get my hair done, and his teacher said he stood in front of her the whole time to keep the other kids away. Too cute :) I think the real sparks are going to fly when she's old enough to play with toys. He's not really going to like her trying to play with "his" stuff. Oh well ;)

I've had an abortion in the past. I do not regret it at all and having my son only made me more pro-choice.

If I were to get pregnant right now I would have a very hard time and most likely would choose to terminate the pregnancy. My reasons are that I'm on the pill and we're using protection, I'm still recovering from some very hardcore PPD that has me on a bunch of meds and honestly I just don't think I could at all handle going though it all again. Not right now I'm just really not ready. I have to admit that it would be a bit harder than last time seeing as how it would be with my husband and not an abusive dimwit with no job, but in the end I have to think about the family I have now and how bringing another live into this world/our family would be and right now is just not the right time.

Another reason I would abort is if in the future monkeys start taking over the earth and I do decide to get pregnant again if there was a major problem where my life was in danger, or extreme abnormality.
