Just proof that it isn't a pro-life movement to these people, it's a chance to control women, control behaviour, and promote ignorance.

Gee, who would've thought that by restricting birth control, the abortion rate would go up?

Most major medical organizations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, define conception as beginning at the moment of implantation. (from us news and world report)

Yeah- gestation and childbirth is SEVEN times more deadly.

Adoption is a PARENTING choice. Abortion is a PREGNANCY choice. Adoption doesn't remove the risks inherent in gestation and childbirth. Abortion does. Do YOU see the difference now?

I dont think so. Abortion is a life and death choice.

I didn't ask how organizations define conception.

Instead, I asked:

1) When do

Well, as stated before, it isn't a baby until birth.

I'm just going to take a moment and ask you to step back and reevaluate your statements here. First, you are leaving words out of your sentences that, when examining context, make it hard to understand what you're saying. For example,

"How would you know if it isnt actually trying to scream? Youve actually seen a baby during an abortion."

AND

"Birth control pills are fail safe but they do help prevent pregnancies most of the time."

I imagine you mean "you've never actually seen a baby during an abortion" because otherwise, the two sentences negate each other.

Second, you are asking questions that are rude and impertinent and above all, painfully obvious. For example,

"Are you considering an abortion right now because you are pregnant now? "

Who would have a blinkie that says "Stick baby bean" and "stay stuck little one" if they intended to abort said bean? Who would say they are a proud member of an expecting club if they were seriously considering ending that membership?

The second I guess it's possible that you have signatures turned off so you didn't see them, but I don't think she's actually mentioned her pregnancy to you directly so I don't know how you'd know about it otherwise.

I recognize that abortion is a highly volatile and emotional topic, but this is a debate board. Not a rant board. Not a "stop by and flame everyone and leave" board. We expect reasonable, rational debate here, and at this point you're not really providing it.

I look forward to debating your points if you decide to stay, but I have to see more respectful commentary coming from your end first. :)
