Racist conspiracy?

It just stuns me that people are still thinking this way. Of course, I was shocked too when a Jewish family I know had a swastika put on their car recently too.

'Womb lynchings': right-to-lifers say abortion is a racist conspiracy

WASHINGTON: Anti-abortion activists have been accused of exploiting America's tragic racial history with a growing campaign to persuade black women that the high rate of terminations among African Americans is a racist conspiracy on a par with slavery and lynching.

The campaign, launched in Georgia, targets the black community with rallies, meetings and now billboards in Atlanta that describe black children as an endangered species and accuse abortion providers of targeting African Americans for what are described as ''womb lynchings''.

The strategy has also focused on the fact that one of the country's leading abortion providers, Planned Parenthood, was founded by a woman who was a leading proponent of eugenics, a belief that the human gene pool could be improved by selective breeding and sterilisation, and who heavily promoted birth control among blacks.

Leave it to the far right to hide their racism when they want something from a community that isn't white.

Unless someone is forcing or coercing women to have abortions, those women are choosing to have abortion. But then again, the right wing nut jobs don't put too much faith in the ability of women or non-whites to think for themselves.

What next? The Civil Rights Act was a 'racist' conspiracy to take black parents away from their children during the day by giving them access to education and better employment, no doubt...

I should point out that not all anti-abortion activists are white, and in fact one of the groups posting these ads has African Americans as their spokesmen.

I think it's ridiculous that anyone would use this argument, but I think it's even weirder that an African-American would. But then again, I also think it's odd when I hear a woman claim that abortion is anti-woman because female z/e/f are aborted too. So I guess abortion is both racial and gender genocide, right?

Check out India sometime with regards to gender genocide.

Do you care to elaborate on that or are you asking me to google "India + gender genocide"?

Post is talking about the fact that a large percentage of abortions in India are performed on female fetuses. Like China, India has a culture that values male children over females and in fact sees female children as burdens.

SandyBryant has posted the answer.

Abortion is always a great enabler of dysfunction.

One could say the same thing about religion, politics, money, etc.

One could, but the topic is abortion.

Nothing like a legal method of exterminating those who would be a burden, with a method that has millions of supporters.

I thought that might have been your point, but I wasn't sure.
