Sure, she was pro woman - as long as you were the 'right' kind of woman.

Didn't you say in a post some time back that you supported mandatory sterilization for certain groups? Oh, here it is:

"As I have said that I would love to see women get tubals who SHOULD not have kids, in the like, women who refuse to care for their bodies (repeated abortions cannot be healthy nor consistant irresponsible sexual practices) loose the right due to their inability or mental/intellectual issues that prevent them from doing so. We do this with those who don't feed themselves, those who are incapacitated, and the mentally ill."

I have to say that I find the author of the second article to be a little whacked. Hitler did not get the plans for the orchestration of the final solution from Margaret Sanger. I clicked on a few links on the rest of that site and found it to be extremely biased. Just because it is a .edu does not mean that the the articles written therein are not just opinion pieces, as this one obviously is. Besides, I have spent too much of my life in the journalism industry to trust most mainstream media, especially op-ed column writers.

I did a closer look at the site itself, and it seems that the host of this particular section of the site (the ~ indicates it's a personal page) is probably a grad student in math.

Credentials to discuss Sanger and eugenics in America? No. Peer-reviewed content that at least attempts to be objective? No.

I'm a bit confused.

I am not for tubals in order to 'weed out minorities, the poor and handicapped'.
