<I would have to feel REALLY sure about a method to get off my bc pills, but as you know they have caused some non-appreciated problems in my life so I would like a controlled break from them.

Just so you know, I know a number of people who had trouble conceiving #1, so they started "early" w/ #2 and conceived w/in the first couple cycles.

The other thing is to listen to your body.


I originally had thought about aiming for an 18 month gap, but when the time rolled around to start trying at around 9 months, I didn't *feel* ready, and my period hadn't returned.

Another excellent point. Did you use any BC during that first year, or were you relying on BFing?
