something we can come together on

hi, i consider myself a pro-life person. i have a beautiful daughter and another on the way. but let me say this i do believe that all children at all stages of life are a great gift to us all. having said that i do not believe that apportion should be made illegal. at that end of the day people that are not ready to have children will continue to have sex and there will be a lot of unwanted pregnancies. and if people can't go somewhere that is regulated legally, this could bring on many complications for women. what i think most (not all) pro-life and pro-choose people can come together on is education. we need to educate men and women more. this should be up to the parents but since i'm afraid a lot of households don't talk enough, then in the schools. it is just not enough to have one gym class about sex. we give girls birth control and plan b, but we don't take the time to explain sex to kids. i think if more men and women were more aware of what s.t.d's look like and how they effect you. and more about what an abortion is and what goes on to you and your child. and emotionally what sex does. i think if men and women new more then they may not get in these situations as much. the problem is that we don't tell women about pregnancy until they are pregnant, and about abortion till they need one, and how an s.t.d will haunt them forever till they get one. i would like to know how most of you felt about this. i would hope this is something productive that we could come together on.

I believe education is important to reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies, which in turn will reduce the number of abortions.

I agree with both of you. Education is the way. Especially for teenagers, their hormones are raging and they have an intense curiosity about sex at these ages. It seems to me that we sexualize almost every aspect of our lives from selling hamburgers to cars and then tell teenagers no, it is forbidden.
