I know some people who have multiples that do not want another child right now and also believe that people shouldn't have sex unless they want a baby. I wonder if those people practice what they preach and are actively not having sex with their husbands. Of course, this poll is anonymous.

I know I couldn't ignore my desire for sex until I am naturally through menopause without going batty. Oh, and fertility should have nothing to do with it. :)

I am pro choice, but I do get tired of people not taking responsibility for their body, i.e. having sex without using birth control. Yes, some people do need to keep their legs together.

Do they still have to "keep their legs closed" IYO if they're using birth control correctly and consistently?

You do know that no form of birth control is 100% effective, even when used correctly and consistently, right?

Do you feel that a woman has more of a right to have an abortion if she is using birth control which fails, compared to a woman not using birth control?

I had heard/read somewhere a couple years ago that, with 6,000,000,000 people inhabiting the Earth, that there was an estimated 100,000,000 acts of sex that occur on a DAILY basis.

Now, how exactly would all those people keep their legs closed on any given day???

Who are these women who have sex without protection knowing they can abort if they get pregnant? I have heard of them (in stories that smack of "Tall Tale"), but have never met any online or offline. I am curious.

The only women I know that have sex without birth control are those actively trying to conceive, and those women would not abort unless circumstances were dire. So, again, where are all of these women who "need to keep their legs closed" because "they are having sex without birth control" and don't plan on gestating any resultant pregnancy (or rather plan to use abortion *as* their birth control)?

I am sure they exist, somewhere, but it certainly must be a very small number. Anyone who has had one, or a D&C, or even a miscarriage can understand how that line of thinking is just irrational. Let's see, why would someone use BC when they could just put their bodies through the pain, and possibly the emotional chaos of having an abortion instead. Or better yet, Why would I use protection, which is relatively inexpensive next to paying for a medical procedure to fix the issue?
