I'm not American and didn't know anything about "Operation Rescue" and their "Truth Trucks", but I'm learning.

I don't have much time to post so this is my straight-from-the-hip reaction.

Hmm, well I did say my post was preliminary and I had to flesh it out more.

I don't understand why it's ok to show graphic, gory pictures publicly where children can see them. This applies equally to the abortion pics and those of Holocaust victims.

I thought the US had laws about that sort of thing.

IMO they have no right to purposely expose my child to anything that is going to cause him trauma. They are not the ones that are going to be up with him all night while he cries. People like this actually prove (and are probably the crux of) the PC argument that PLers only care about the unborn and don't give a whit about born children.

"I don't CARE if your child has nightmares or becomes afraid of someone doing that to him I'm too stupid to form a well informed iron clad argument so I am going to take teh easy route and post huge pictures that will get attention and a gut response. I mean THAT is OBVIOSLY the way to stop abortions right? Everyone who sees my pictures is going to stop and ask me about birth control, family planning, adoption, and financial aid to assist in raising the children I may have"

Operation Rescue is a deplorable group who do NOT care, one whit, about the women or born children.

>>They do more than most to promote the image of PLs as unstable, violence-prone fanatics.<<

ITA. I think if it wasn't for that I would find it easier to ignore them as long as they stayed away from me and my babies.

>>Misa, I absolutely do not believe that all PL are like that. <<

I know that. Too bad the normal ones don't make good headlines
