here is a woman who understands that women/people in general who have NOT had an abortion have a lot to learn from women who have been there... btw still thinking about recent discussions, much to digest from that.

Yes, I learned alot from my mother, who had an abortion. She does not regret it, though she felt loss at the time.

She says that she understood the difference between regret for the unplanned pregnancy itself, and any that she may have felt for a decision to limit the amount of damage and chaos in our family at that very painful time during a long a protracted divorce.

You might learn alot from her, and understand that each woman takes away what she brings to her decision. Perhaps the stakes were much clearer for her than they were for you, so there was less uncertainty for her about what the right decision was for her.

You might benefit alot from listening to her voice, if you are as open as you expect everyone else to be.
