I see a whole lot of people talking very eloquently about the physical and biological aspects of abortion.

Eventually I WILL have to have surgery for my heart, but that's due to a genetic defect and has nothing to do with my cholesterol levels. In fact, the weird thing is the heart valve they're concerned with has been having LESS blockage over the last few years, despite my weight gain

I would suppose burying your head in the sand is your choice!

>I will just say this.....doesnt it make sense that if a woman has her uterus scrapped out and suctioned, might it be POSSIBLE to take tissue making it harder for an embryo to implant?<

Only if scarring occurs. Which is quite rare. The majority of women having difficulty conceiving are having that problem because they waited til later in life to have children.

This reminds me of something...back in high school they made us watch a video showing us what could happen as a result of a drug overdose. I left the room to throw up. As I was running to the bathroom, the cop was laughing at me. When I returned, I looked him in the eye and said "The ones running out of here to puke aren't the ones you needed to show this film to. It's the ones that are watching it and smiling."

WARNING TO THOSE WHO'VE READ MY STORY BEFORE...SKIP THE REST:

When I was about 26, I had some bad test results that made my doctor schedule me for a breast biopsy. At the same time, my period stopped for a few months. As I waited for the pregnancy test results, I knew that I would postpone neither this surgery nor any treatment to carry a pregnancy. Thankfully I wasn't pregnant and I didn't have cancer, but it could have gone the other way. Would you REALLY have told a woman in my position that she must look at the film of a procedure that she deemed was in her best health interest?

I sure wouldn't. I don't like puking.

I think I'd stand by what a doctor has to say about this.

Abortion is not the reason so many women today have infertility issues. Most of the women with them are older. The younger ones have other issues, often having to do with genetics, disease, and other medical mishap.

Again, wrong. Not wanting to watch film of your procedure is IN NO WAY the same as not being informed about your procedure. You do know that people get information other than visually, right?
