An interesting video asking PL if abortion was made illegal and what the penalty should be.

Yes, but if you drink and drive, they take your license away, maybe arrest you. They don't alter your body so that you can no longer metabolize alcohol.

You assume that every clinic and doctor's office has immediate access to every medical record of everyone who's ever been a patient in the U.S. It simply is not the case. If it were, I would not have to keep bending over backwards to prove that I got the MMR vaccine back in high school.

Yes, but they don't cut off your hands so that you can never write one again. This is another bad analogy.

You make it sound like it's so easy. Okay, so the policy debater in me wants to know the following questions:

1. How do you plan to override HIPPA so that every abortion clinic has access to every single woman's full medical record?
2. How do you plan to create infrastructure that would create, populate, and update such a database?
3. How much is this going to cost? I'm estimating probably a billion dollars.

And finally, and I've asked you this before: How many women actually have 10 or more abortions?

I find it just as abhorrent as you do but one, your analogies are bad and they do not reflect the inherent physical violation of forced sterilization or forced gestation; and two, you have failed to establish the significance of this problem. Frankly, I don't believe that you know anyone who has actually had 10 or more abortions, and even if you did, that's one person. I certainly would not justify spending a billion dollars and violating everyone's right to medical privacy just so you could get the satisfaction of punishing this one woman you know.

Well considering I don't associate with her anymore I guess the proper tense would be *knew* . Yeah I stopped associating with her when she and her current crackhead boyfriend abducted me and my girls...but definately NOT before I told him about her ways of trapping men and such.

But if you're going to dispute my facts my life and my knowledge perahaps we should start insisting everyone who has claimed to have .....horrendous pregnancies....and special needs children...and all that to prove thier stance too.

I've given examples of gross defect....severe hydrocephalus or any condition where there would be no hope of meaningful life.

No one should make that choice for you.....again keep reading and you'll see where I'm going with this.
