It takes a big person to post an apology like that. You have my respect for doing that. Welcome to the board. I hope you stick around!

To save you from having to read through hundreds of posts to find this, here's the lovely and heartfelt apology from the person to whom you are offering a thank you:

"OK enough is enough... I am making a heartfelt and honest apology here. I can't be on this debate board, b/c it is too emotional of a subject for me to not make personal. I am big enough (slander me if you want) to realize that I can't discuss it without judging or wanting to condemn. I wish I wasn't this way... yes, it is a character flaw. I realize that I reacted w/o thinking of your (and others who posted) feelings. I can't take back any offensive hurtful things I've said... but know that I hold no animosity toward any of you for your decisions or belief's and I'm sorry if for a minute I added stress or "boiling blood" to your day. Believe me, my intentions were not to go this direction and I should've caught myself before I jumped into the whole thing. So please accept my apology and forgive me for being insesitive."

I'll say the same thing to you as I do to other posters who come in hoping to slam people - if you want to engage in respectful debate, I'd be more than happy to do so with you.

>How many women do you think got pregnant while they were on birth control? How many women do you think got pregnant when using a couple different methods of birth control at the same time? Do you honestly think these women who were on birth control and somehow subsequently became pregnant were not being responsible enough when engaging in sex? Logically, that does not make sense.

In your opinion, how responsible does a woman have to be when it comes to birth control? One method, two, three at the same time?

Of course, women are not animals - animals do not use birth control, as far as I know. Humans do have the intellectual capacity to think and to think ahead, as well as to ponder the consequences of their actions.

I am very glad to see that you are PC about the right to choose to have sex. It's a start...<

I'm 50, PC, mother of 3 dd's, grandmother of 3 (one gs & 2 gdd's) when my youngest dd was born I had my tubes tied~~yet I still became pregnant two more times and thankfully I miscarried both of them. It took have a partial hysterectomy for me to quit getting pregnant. (between my 2 sets of grandparents there was 15 kids on my dad's side and 10 on my mom's side so you see I come from very fertile people)

"I BELIEVE WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE SEX I am pro choice in that"

I have been mulling over the above statement and, I must admit, I'm gobsmacked.

"It is right to be contented with what we have, but never with what we are."
