Who Cares About Red Envelope Day?

I was curious to see what kind of flap was raised by "Red Envelope Day." Apparently nothing. I did a Google News search last night and today a couple of times, and the only news sources covering it are pro-life, inherently religious, or very conservative.

So much for the deluge of envelopes. Well, maybe the post office got a little "stimulus" off it.

LOL - that's why I figured it was a good thing - a friend of mine has a business as a freight carrier for USPS. It'll be nice if he gets some extra business out of it.

You know I can only think of one PL person I know who actually did the whole Red Envelope thing, the rest decided it was pointless and would save a tree instead of wasting time trying to change the presidents mind. It's rather silly when you think about it, did they honestly expect that he would get all those envelopes?
