I hear that! In the initial stages, the bellydancing actually really helped. But once you get to less than a minute between contractions, forget it.

Honestly, if I thought I could get SO to agree to adoption I'd seriously consider going that route.

That's where I'm at right now, too. Either #2 will come via VBAC or he or she will come via planned c/s. The worse, I think, would be another long labor coupled by frustrated medications and then another c/s. It's hard to know what I'd end up with if I sought a VBAC though. We'll have to see.
