Even if they're childfree by choice?
Oh, and if my mother was to get pregnant (57, coming to the end of the menopause), I REALLY hope she'd abort. She's fairly healthy right now, but her body could not cope with a ninth pregnancy.
And yes she's in a happy, healthy marriage which has so far lasted 30 years.
Just because I do not agree with it doesn't mean that I feel it is "Big Brother's" (government) right to tell a person what they can and cannot do with their body.
I also believe that suicide should be legal.
I think that if two people are in a loving, committed, long-term marriage, and they have sex, even if they are on birth control there is a teeny tiny chance that they might conceive.
Ok, so you disagree with abortion in most instances but you would not try to make it illegal?
Suicide is legal both in the US and here in the UK.

She might mean "assisted suicide" which is illegal in most states here.
I'm sure a CFBC couple would take every available measure to prevent conception. Nevertheless if such a couple got pregnant, there would be a good chance that the woman would abort. My point here was to illustrate that a couple CAN be in a happy, healthy marriage and still opt for abortion.
Another example might be a couple who already had as many kids as they wanted or could afford.
Ah, sadly that's illegal here too. I really believe that we ought to be able to end our lives with dignity if we choose to.
