Another baby at my house needing formula?

Now my youngest child is 25 years old, and the last time I used formula with a baby was my grandson, who is now 15 years old.

Yes, I will admit I did an experiment years ago, signing up for free samples of formula, saying I was fully breastfeeding and ended up with something like 28 cans of free formula and $450 in formula coupons!! I donated it all to the food bank.

But it has been years - I don't know, about 5-6 years? since I requested that free formula. Yet every couple of years I get another box of free formula, congratulating me on my baby-to-be. Another package arrived the other day - I dropped it off at the food bank today.

Does the formula company know something I don't?? I thought I knew where babies come from... but apparently there are several babies hiding somewhere in my house. And they all need formula!!

Here's my article about the formula - in just 6 months, I had gotten $290 in coupons, and 21 cans of powder, 12 cans of ready-to-feed & 8 toddler formula!

The coupons & formula continued to come for years!

A co-worker of mine just got married in the fall and she said she thought it was funny, shortly after she did her wedding registry on Target she started getting baby magazines and a few formula samples in the mail. Apparently they must think wedding registries must = baby on the way. LOL! She was like, I'm 40 and I have 3 kids, and my tubes tied, they better not be trying to tell me something!!

That's amazing that you received so many samples - and are still receiving them!  I signed up for samples too when I was pregnant with my youngest in 2011 and got two diapers and two very small cans of formula.  And that's it - and nothing since!  Oh well.  I donated the formula to my church.

Since I posted, Similac has continued to send me more coupons almost every day.

I now have $40 total in coupons!

Pretty agressive marketing for my "new baby"!!
