I saw these baby beanies on Etsy, and I love them!

I think they're really cute, but I probably wouldn't actually have my baby wear one. Nursing in public modestly without a cover is still a bit of a struggle for us, and I don't need something that calls more attention to it.

I don't know if I would be brave enough to actually put it on my baby in public. I'd have no problem in front of close friends or family, though.

I think they are pretty funny, and wouldn't ahve a problem if someone else put it on their baby. But no, I wouldn't put it on my baby.

I threatened to get one to use only when MIL was around. DH said no, even though he agreed it would be pretty funny.

I think, like most things, there's a time and a place for it. My town is pretty "hippy" so it would be ok in the downtown district, but I wouldn't use it at church.

Yes, I could see using it at a LLL meeting or a get-together in someone's home with friends to get a laugh, but not out in public or where people would get offended. Although, I bet most people wouldn't realize what it was unless they really stared for a few minutes.

I don't understand what the point is, besides the fact that neither of my kids would have kept a hat on for more than a second and a half.

Maybe I should note that I live in one of the cities that hosted a topless women protest, so boobies aren't a big deal.

I do get your point about kids wearing hats, Dana. P only wears a lttle wool hat that was my dad's. Nothing over his ears, please!

I L*O*V*E those - can you imagine how much more effective a nurse in, or breastfeeding "flash" mob would be if all babies wore these? Priceless!

I cannot think of a sible reason why my baby's head should look like a breast.
