A candy company has developed a lollipop that tastes like breastmilk.  The description on the lollipop states:

We are endlessly grateful to all the mothers who kept sharing their breast milk with our flavor specialists until we were able to candify it. These lollipops won't bring back childhood memory; they'll bring up animal instinct. Quite possibly the most inherently satisfying flavor of all time.

The lollipops do not contain breastmilk and are vegan.

Would you buy breastmilk flavored lollipops?

I probably wouldn't buy that flavor, but they have some others that look interesting too (green tea, strawberry basil mojito...).

I wouldn't because no matter how they taste, they are essentially sugar on a stick. And adding breast milk flavour to convince my child that they should eat more of it? Not in this house!

Um, pass.  Like Catherine said, it's just a lot of sugar.  I try not to buy candy anyway, so this isn't too tempting to me.  I do wonder how many times their flavor specialists had to sample random womens' breastmilk to get the flavor right.  I would not want that job.  And before anyone tells me it's no different from cow/goat/whatever milk, I want to be clear that we're a dairy free house anyway so that's the main reason why it's unappealing to me.

Welcome Hh6Fam! I hadn't thought of somone havign to taste all those samples! LOL

But I don't know how that would work anyhow, because if you eat a lot of garlic, or any other strong flavoured food, the taste will end up in your milk. So how did they decide what breastmilk should tastes like? Doesn't it depend on your diet?

I'm with the others, we limit sugar at our house, plus I can't hardly see the ingredients in any of the lollipops on their nutrition page, so I wouldn't be inclined to buy anything I don't know enough info on.

Breast milk flavored lollipops sounds really gross and freakish.
