In all honesty, I've never heard a pedi recommend giving a child a Vit D supplement. The only people I've ever seen a recommendation for Vit D supplements are post-menopausal women (and it's in conjunction with their calcium supplement). >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Really?

Our requirements have changed, or our understanding of our requirements have changed, or medical standards have changed? These are not the same thing. "The requirements" and "my requirements" are not necessarily the same thing either.

I understand you are informed on the topic, more so than some others - I said your post was good and you made good points. Obviously I felt you were more than qualified to respond to LC's point, I also said you were right.

I never said psychology and education have "nothing to do with the other" nor did I say people in education are "ill qualified to discuss or deal with the subject." And again, I think you are informed, qualified and have made good points.

Finally, I don't think we can avoid all tangents. I didn't want to see LC get defensive, again, that's all. This isn't the first time semantics has come up, it won't be the last. I've stopped using particular words on this board because people didn't like them, really didn't know it'd be a problem, I thought I explained my position well and that'd you'd see my point. I actually thought you had understood it a while back.

There's a fetish for everyone. I'm not saying moms who EN do it for show, but there is probably at least one person who does get a kick out of people seeing them breastfeed.

Are you being sarcastic? I can't tell with text. But you know it's all in how you interpret a person's words.

You're quite the celebrity in this post. This is the second(?) compliment you've received.
