Do most FFing parents know powdered infant formulas are not commercially sterile products? How much of a risk is a E. sakazakii infection? Is it only a risk to premature and low-weight babies? According to the WHO article below, "infants under 2 months of age are at greatest risk."

Well maybe she'll give her answer as well;-0 For me personally, I really dislike when women closely associate femininity with motherhood, BF, etc. Not discounting those who do feel those things help them feel feminine but what about all the women who never have babies? Maybe I'm just ultra sensitive as prior to having my son, I thought I was never going to have a child and I hated hearing things like "Now that I'm a mother I'm finally a woman", stuff like that. For me, I felt sexy, feminine and all woman way before I gave birth. Getting pregnant, having my son, BF actually made me feel powerful.

I think each women gets to decide for herself what it all means. If someone wants to not associate femininity with motherhood and bf it's no skin of my nose. Just like if I consider them closely tied for myself, why would you really dislike that? You can feel how you feel about it, that woman who's "finally" a woman now that she's a mom, can feel however she wants to feel about it.

Good. Grief. This is the last time I will entertain someone's need to ask questions that aren't needed.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Not needed by your standards apparently, ok.

A popular ad in the 70's was "Thanks for the gumball, Mickey" when a kid got a gumball from the gumball machine.

My kids laugh at me when I say it now.

I don't think I've heard of that one, but you reminded me of the Life Cereal kid, Mikey (Mikey likes it!), which I say to Liam now when he tries something new, and actually eats it. LOL.

Because at 39 I had been through FIVE miscarriages, 2 chemical pregnancies, 4 IUI's, 3 rounds of IVF, 2 FET's and I was darn sensitive about motherhood in general ok?

<<SOMEONE say something to me...:) Cool! Wait, I will have to step down as chief of invisible posters club...:O I was acknowledged...>>

Now Spud, I "talk" to you all the time! I don't think I am in the invisible poster club?

Even though people don't often "talk" to me - at least they respond to my posts. Of course that's probably just because I post a lot of articles and debate topics! ;)

No matter what decision you make in your life, or your child's life - there will always be someone just waiting to tell you what a stupid idiot you are for doing so...
