Do most FFing parents know powdered infant formulas are not commercially sterile products? How much of a risk is a E. sakazakii infection? Is it only a risk to premature and low-weight babies? According to the WHO article below, "infants under 2 months of age are at greatest risk."

According to the FDA, "a

**It doesn't bother me too much. I'm being called a troll because there was no way to argue what I had to say.***

Ok, fine, but to me this is beyond ridiculous because the mods have left the rules and one of them is no name calling! And , the women keep *bumping* up the rules so as not to forget!

Man! what hypocrisy.

When you show your friends this board, do you show them only the posts that support your perception or do the lot of you look deeper?

At all the places where formula feeding MOTHERS are NOT judged or vilified for feeding formula but SYMPATHIZED with for the BS "info" they were given? Such as your "heroine" whose flag you tend to wave as evidence of how mean we are?

At all the places where it's generally agreed that any baby who cannot get breast milk should be able to get the very best substitute possible?

At the EVIDENCE that formula is NOT the norm with breast milk being "best", but the EVIDENCE that breast milk is the norm with formula being a substitute?

At all the places where breastfeeders are judged by formula feeding standards? For instance, babies should be off the formula bottle by one year, so breastfeeders are "abnormal" for going longer? Even though breastfeeding IS normal and formula the substitute?

At all the places where formula solutions are used for breastfeeding issues?

I have to wonder if your friends actually SAW the board or only saw what they expected to see.

No matter what decision you make in your life, or your child's life - there will always be someone just waiting to tell you what a stupid idiot you are for doing so...

***That was probably me. It was never claimed otherwise. What was stated, over & over, is that it is the ADULT in the equation who teaches that breastfeeding is something odd to be teased about.
