Do FFers know this risk?

Do most FFing parents know powdered infant formulas are not commercially sterile products? How much of a risk is a E. sakazakii infection? Is it only a risk to premature and low-weight babies? According to the WHO article below, "infants under 2 months of age are at greatest risk."
According to the FDA, "a

*** Not sure. I'm also doubtful that this is the only place you've ever expressed your dislike of EN, given your vehemence about it. If you've never said one word about it anywhere but on this board, either verbally or in writing...fine, then.***
yes, that is fine. I don't talk about en-ing to anyone but a bf booard, lol.
***Hear, hear. Who needs that kind of rudeness? It can't be the only salon in town, and I'll find a friendlier one to give my business to.***
On the contrary it is rude of you to wanna delay the other clients who have booked their appointments also. And put you and the baby in danger.
Yeah, I've seen people 'want' to do all kinds of things while they're getting their hair done.>>
Oh, my dirty mind is wandering. I am not going to go there! LMBO

Yes, another reason I'm happy to have my stylist come to my house. DH works most nights & weekends, and it would be a PITA to find a sitter to watch the kids just so I could go get a haircut. Too much planning for something like that. And I don't like bringing DS--he'd probably behave himself but he'd definitely be unattended.

And are those things untrue, or somehow personally offensive to you? I can't see why they would be, but please RAV them and let the mods decide for you.
<<>>
No, it has not. But why you feel you must repeatedly drag out that same argument is sort of a mystery to me, since nothing new is added to it, and your basis for it seems to be, well, non-existent.

Um, nope. Not at all. What would give you that idea? I'm doing something biologically normal and expected by my child's body. He doesn't think it's anything special and neither do I. The only thing to be proud of here is the fact that I have persevered with meeting his biological expectations in the face of rampant "ick" baloney from people who don't understand it.
***But I'd still expect polite behavior out of the stylist! Not "haircut or nurse, time's a-tickin'!"***
I said that here, to you guys to show my point. I would not say it in that way to a customer, or be so rude to a customer.
***Oh yeah, and polite, professional behavior is a must.***
I teach that to all my staff , present and prior ones.

Since you used the word "baby" here, I'll disagree. If I have a BABY with me who needs to eat, those other clients can lump it until my baby is done. Otherwise, they better not ever cause a delay in appointments because of cell-phone calls, late arrivals or any other reason for pushing back other people's time in the chair. If it's an older child, I might see your point, but not a BABY.
***brings me to another peeve and that's kids running around unattended in a salon. ;)***
I once saw a sign for a salon, but obviously never bought it to hang up, that read "any child left unattended will be given a shot of esspresso and a free puppy to take home!"
LOL!!
You're so bad! LOL!
That scheduling would be a pain. I can't imagine bringing my toddler, or even my infant for that matter. I don't think I'd ever need my hair done that bad!
I've actually seen some well behaved kids, but unfortunately those aren't the ones who stand out. :( One of the places I worked had tanning beds and I actually had a woman want to bring her toddler INTO the room with her while she tanned. Yikes!
***Who taught her, a small child, to react physically to anger? Um...really?*** ok, I'm confused now. You guys did say that bullying was taught? she said when her daughter is bullying she pulls her aside. And then spud answered it for me perfectly well.>>
