Do FFers know this risk?

Do most FFing parents know powdered infant formulas are not commercially sterile products? How much of a risk is a E. sakazakii infection? Is it only a risk to premature and low-weight babies? According to the WHO article below, "infants under 2 months of age are at greatest risk."
According to the FDA, "a

***, it has not. But why you feel you must repeatedly drag out that same argument is sort of a mystery to me, since nothing new is added to it, and your basis for it seems to be, well, non-existent.***
I just keep answering your posts like you told me to. Sorry.
***nce you used the word "baby" here, I'll disagree. If I have a BABY with me who needs to eat, those other clients can lump it until my baby is done. Otherwise, they better not ever cause a delay in appointments because of cell-phone calls, late arrivals or any other reason for pushing back other people's time in the chair. If it's an older child, I might see your point, but not a BABY.***
No, I'm sorry, you and your nursing baby do not get priority, you will put your baby in danger and I'm not going to be held liable. Other customers will not like you to tell them to lump it while you make them late and eat into their scheduled time. I would then take the next customer and you can forfeit your appt and be perfectly welcome to help yourself to a refreshment and magazine and see if i can fit you in later if you need to nurse first.
Oh, well all we want is for you to believe us. It happens in groups in my area too. Should we take video footage for you? Perhaps get written statements from the children getting picked on? Maybe a sworn statement from one or two of the bullies stating they are picking on the children because they're breastfed?
Hold your breath now.

Brutal honesty is not the same as bullying.

Nobody said otherwise.

Please explain this to me. If most of your friends' kids are EN, then who is it that is bullying these children in the sandbox? You cited, not too many posts ago, the children bullying the EN'ers for wanting to nurse instead of play. But if the majority of them are EN, then how/why is the majority bullying other members of the majority for not being members of the minority?
And frankly, I doubt that you know that many people who EN in your face all the time. We're actually quite rare, in terms of the population as a whole.

**I've actually seen some well behaved kids, but unfortunately those aren't the ones who stand out. :( One of the places I worked had tanning beds and I actually had a woman want to bring her toddler INTO the room with her while she tanned. Yikes!**
I do not bother with beds in my salon, but in one I used to work in a woman wanted to bring her child in with her and i asked her how she was planning to protect her child from the radiation and she just stood there blinking........I told her she should not go ahead with this but she did anyway.........

I'm not offended.

And I'll maintain that a hair salon that has "hundreds" of women nursing older kids in it must exist in an alternate universe because it defies statistics as well as social and cultural trends.

Obviously in Mary's mind, you should be punishing the children of other parents for bullying. Next time you whip one of their kids, make sure and say "Well, there's this woman on these message boards. She thinks I shouldn't do nothing when your child is being a bully. It's a bad example for the other kids, so it's my job to teach them right from wrong".
Some people don't understand it's not their place to punish other children. I'd love for her to try and parent mine. Then my child wouldn't be the bully lol.
