Do most FFing parents know powdered infant formulas are not commercially sterile products? How much of a risk is a E. sakazakii infection? Is it only a risk to premature and low-weight babies? According to the WHO article below, "infants under 2 months of age are at greatest risk."

***And frankly, I doubt that you know that many people who EN in your face all the time. We're actually quite rare, in terms of the population as a whole.***

they aren't in my face all the time. less and less as a matter of fact as we don't have a lot in common, my kids are older.

The post you're replying to was completely tongue-in-cheek. You know, facetious...a joke.

***Some people don't understand it's not their place to punish other children. I'd love for her to try and parent mine. Then my child wouldn't be the bully lol.***

I know. I have *said* something before when such incident took place but I try to stay out of it as no one likes a busy body, or wants to be considered one. They are taking my anecdote as tho this happens alot or something too.

***Is that happening to somebody here? Quick, RAV it!**

You sure say that alot to back up your sarcasm....I think I will too from now on.

***"Factual evidence"? LOL. You mean, beyond the fact that I'm nursing a child who is almost 4, and doesn't get "picked on by others" for it? My child is living proof of the fact that older kids who nurse are typically well-adjusted, normal, "regular***

***And you'll never see me in your salon again! Nor any of my nursing friends, who will hear about it post-haste. Done, and done!***

As I said before, this is absolutely fine....there is a saying in the industry that I learned at one of our seminars by DR. Lou Lewsconcy: There will always be people you can not please in this industry and those people make up 10% of your clientele, do not let 10% bring you down!

So by you not comming and holding us up, you've done us and our many clients a favor!

I'm not "backing up" my "sarcasm" by saying that. I'm genuinely requesting that people RAV these things they find so offensive, instead of just complaining about it here. Trust me, I know exactly where the RAV button is, and I use it plenty. ;O)

And...? It's also "factual evidence". The facts are plain: my child is nearly 4, he still nurses, and he isn't bullied for it and never has been. What more do you need? All these tales of supposed "butt-whoopings" are "anecdotal" as well. What doesn't exist in the *scientific realm*, unlike studies that show there are good reasons for EN, are studies that show there are bad ones. But if you have some you'd like to share, by all means link to them for our edification.

I'm sure you do sweety, but I stillwill not RAV you over petty sarcasm. You'd have to be more rude than that.

I'm learning the terms here and when to use them. Like when My anecdotes are called.
