Do most FFing parents know powdered infant formulas are not commercially sterile products? How much of a risk is a E. sakazakii infection? Is it only a risk to premature and low-weight babies? According to the WHO article below, "infants under 2 months of age are at greatest risk."

If you think the boards aren't one sided, why wonder that? What would it matter if formula sided posts stayed up?

Not all of Cali is hippie. I daresay the gangs in Cali would not refer to themselves as "hippies" and I take offense at that.

We are "Valley People", not hippies, thank you very much.

No, we do, but it's hard to feed a child in a public place where there is a lot going on.

Why are you assuming that because I said I feed my child early that I am saying all formula feeding moms never take a bottle with them. I will ask you to stop putting words into my mouth.

Strange, I would consider the bully as having a negative outcome.

Children get bullied for all sorts of things. I for one got bullied for being creative, for being the daughter of a teacher and for my sexuality. I can't change any of those things and I never wished to.

A child who bullies is a child who is in pain and who is acting out that pain on others. They are the ones with a negative outcome. They are the ones who need to change, with help of course.

Yes but they are not the victim when it comes to being bullied. I guess in a way they are both the victim, but both sides of that kind of situation is a negative outcome. I was bullied too and I would have to say my situation was negative.

Yes, bullying is a negative thing to happen to a person.

But it is not a negative outcome based on something they've done wrong.

It can be a negative experience without being a negative outcome of certain behaviours.

Bullies will find something to bully about. I think it sends a negative message to the child to talk about bullying being a negative outcome of something they do. That's only going to compound the problems bullying causes (low self-esteem) and make the child think they have to change because of what others think about them. Hello, peer pressure!
