Do FFers know this risk?

Do most FFing parents know powdered infant formulas are not commercially sterile products? How much of a risk is a E. sakazakii infection? Is it only a risk to premature and low-weight babies? According to the WHO article below, "infants under 2 months of age are at greatest risk."
According to the FDA, "a

****Who taught them to do this? I thought kids would not tease unless an adult gave them 'reason' to tease about glasses, freckles, clothes, en-ing?>>
I think you just answered your own question. :-)****
except it wasn't that *kind* of question, more so making a point that kids will tease over ANYTHING they view as different from themselves, and I don't agree it's ALL taught by adults, or school or t.v. but some of it just comes natural.
<<<***And yeah I said hippie california and it was just a tongue-in-cheek reply to the idea of "hundreds of ENers in a hair salon" being in another universe. ;-)***
like alot say after the fact here.>>>
The idea being, of course, that we sort of expect people to utilize whatever sense of humor they may innately possess, so that we don't have to go out of our way "after the fact" to point out that we had just made a little joke. Some of us find it's more fun to try and keep things light whenever possible. It's how we manage to debate one another and still be friendly with one another when all is said and done.

Are you saying that you think EN has "positives", then? What are they, in your opinion?
***Fio cracks jokes a lot here--most of us do, that's one way that we can debate each other and still be able to be "fluffy" together at the end of the day.***
That is all fine and dandy Mary, as long as I receive the very same treatment when some of my jokes get taken as offense instead of the jokes they were intended to be, which they have not in many cases. I took offense greatly to Fio's so called sense of humor , she did not say right at the time she is TIC or joking, she let it hang for me to take as said.
***Having some reading troubles? ***
"having some reading troubles?" I'll ignore that one , it's hard to keep up. So It was you who said it then. Well My answer remains the same. Feel better?
There was so much good and important and relevant information in your post, I hope this line didn't make her tune you out so she can't "listen" to what you had to say, or become so defensive that she'll be debating her lack of egocentrism rather than discuss bullying and it's effects. I think it sounds like she is unaware of how it can feel and what can happen outside of her own experience, I do NOT think that is "rather egocentric" of her. Not fully informed, misinformed, not familiar with, not yet exposed to - any of those would be fine.
If a student says something derogatory toward a classmate -- or does something physcial intended to embarrass or harass -- I immediately assign that student 3 after school detentions. There are no warnings.
Kind of ironic that you then started your post off by saying something derogatory.
I liked everything *else* you had to say in your post, and applaud the efforts of you and your school to protect children from this awful experience. My dd's school has a similar attitude that it is unacceptable and they act swiftly, I am so, so glad for that.

Why do
***Are you saying that you think EN has "positives", then? What are they, in your opinion?***
I have no opinions on the positives as it is a huge turn off for me and since *I* would never do

SO VERY well put once again. I would end up ignoring it for being called egocentric for my views and then where would the debate even get?
