Do most FFing parents know powdered infant formulas are not commercially sterile products? How much of a risk is a E. sakazakii infection? Is it only a risk to premature and low-weight babies? According to the WHO article below, "infants under 2 months of age are at greatest risk."

According to the FDA, "a

Thistle, I do not need to go out and learn more about something I would NEVER do.

Part of debating accurately is educating yourself about the debate topic. If you arent doing it personally then I suggest you do it to help further your debate.

thistles threats of raving all the time. How does one stand a chance then

Very simply. Do not write anything RAV worthy.

Try to leave out sweeping generalizations, comments about other people and stick to the debate topic at hand. I have been here 3 and some years and really its not that hard.

When we say RAV, we mean we will RAV posts that are in obvious violation of the TOS. Read the TOS and you will know what to aviod.

By God no one is on a witch hunt here after you.

Thistles has always been fair and honerable. If she sees something RAV worthy it is b/c it IS RAV worthy. Know what is and you will be fine. Its simple.

Ah well then I suppose I should point out that just because you do not see it as a negative remark, does not mean others feel the same way. Goes back to the whole perception thing you brought up in the other thread. If someone lacks knowledge or information and is faced with someone who has a great deal of knowledge and experience, they could label that persons lack of knowlegde any number of ways that would "turn off" listening.

I am not surprised that some disagree with my opinion, but since it's all perception I am hoping you get my point anyway.

Actually my point was more that you DON'T have to go to another universe to find a population where many women BF.

But that went flying over more than a few people's heads...

"I would never do it, it turns ME off......ME doing it. I never thought people WERE trying to impress me with it, I don't know what else to say to your comment? Is there something else you are getting at?"

No, I just couldn't tell that you were talking about YOU ENing and not others ENing.

Did I suggest the smoking stuff in *this* thread? I know I've brought up smoking vs. ffing before but I'm positive I didn't mention it this time around in this context (taking time away from clients by leaving the chair). Just the washroom. Maybe you're confusing me with another poster.

BTW -- for someone who does not want to be bogged down in the debate of semantics, you certainly are continuing this tangent....

I do understand your argument and why you think it's fine, I hope you can also see my point. If you can then it was worth it.

::choke::

*I* have a trigger happy RAV finger?

I maybe report 2-3 posts a YEAR. Usually they have something HIGHLY insulting such as the N*** word in them or are a direct attack such as "YOU are a big "%"/$/%"/%". Other than that, I generally let posts stay b/c even if I don't like what they say or don't agree with them one way or another, there is nothing more infuriating than coming to read a thread and finding "that post deleted" upon "that post deleted" and nothing makes sense anymore.

So I generally don't RAV many posts.
