Does the recall change your mind?

  • After the recall, I am less likely to choose to FF

  • After the recall I am just as likely to choose to FF

  • After the recall, I am more likely to choose to FF

  • Recall or not, I always choose to BF

  • Recall or not, I always choose to FF

You will be able to change your vote.

I think I've mentioned here before that I have a hard time pumping after the first few months, and in addition to that, I have a high lipase content that makes my frozen milk smell/taste sour or soapy, unless I scald it first before freezing...making the whole prospect of pumping and stockpiling a freezer stash a frustrating and more time consuming endeavor.

I've been very lucky with my body, and with my double electric I was always able to pump more than enough for a nice freezer stash. I know I'm very lucky for that, and I hope and pray that it will be as easy with my next baby.

I voted recall or not I always choose BFing.

I voted after the recall I'm just as likely to choose to FF. My ff'ing decision wasn't hinged on quality of the formula. I followed the hierarchy, bf'ing when I could, pumping when I couldn't bf'd, formula when I couldn't pump.

Welcome to the debate board Krisy! It's good to see you posting here and I hope that you will stick around. We always need more voices on the formula-feeding side.

Love the pics of your little ones - those eyes! :D

thanks. i just may do that. it seems like everyone is on the bf side. i mean i would have bf if i could but with my daughter she was born 5lbs 6oz and after a month was 5lbs 5oz. so she didnt gain. she was on formula after that and is a total genius. with my son my asmatha was bad and iron and he was sick and i didnt have milk until he was a month. i still tried but he was used to formula so i let him be.

~~i just may do that. it seems like everyone is on the bf side.~~

Great to hear!

While it may seem that most of us are BFers here, that is not true. We have those who have only BF, those who have only FF, those who have FF one (or more) child and BF others, those who have both BF & used formula, those who have exclusively pumped and those who have tube-fed.

The board has been a bit slow lately, but hopefully it will get busier again and you will get to meet more of the FFing side of our board.

Your kids are cute. That look your dd has where she's wearing the pink shirt, I get that look at least once a day from my 10 yo and 3 yo DD's.
