Do you think your choice of feeding method influenced your choice to SAH, WOH, or WAH?

For me they were unrelated.

Yes, in my case, they were unrelated as well. With Kevin, I always planned to breastfeed and I always planned to go back to work. I worked and pumped until he was a year. I ended up getting laid off at 18 months then made the decision to stay home.

Once Jason came home, I was already a SAHM but I would have nursed him regardless of my employment status.

Mostly unrelated for me. I always planned to WOH and to BF and pump as needed. Having now been back at work as a FFer, though, the thought of extending my already-ridiculously-long workday with pumping sessions is hard to imagine; I already barely get home in time to see DD many days before she falls asleep, which I hate. I'm undecided on whether I'll W&P next time around if my work situation is unchanged.

Not WOH is not something I see as an option given my unchangeable expenses (principally law school and college loans).

I always planned to be a SAHM. If unfortunately

For me, it was that my working status helped to determine my feeding method.

Unrelated for me. I always planned to SAHM because I felt it was important to the way I wanted to raise my family, and I would have done it regardless of how I fed. With my first baby, I never expected to BF for more than a few weeks in the beginning, and fully expected to switch to FF. For this reason, I heavily researched formula costs before having him, to make sure that I'd be able to pay for formula without bringing in any extra income myself.
