Formula risks...I believe

  • Formula has risks that are unacceptable if breastmilk is available
  • Formula has risks but it's OK to choose it if you understand the risks
  • Formula has risks but it's OK to choose it even if you DONT understand the risks
  • Formula has some risks but they are overblown
  • Formula has risks but so does breastmilk, and the risks are about the same
  • Formula doesn't have any risks
  • Other, please explain

Actually, if the height of the FF trend was in the 70's, then those babies are now in their 30's....and a big part of the obesity epidemic and the diabetes explosion.

I received 3/4 to UM...a bit hard to get but I was dating (sleeping with) a guy on the admissions boards son (who later turned out to be gay). I don't know if that helped me, but I didn't end up going there. Just wondering did you go to High School in my neck of the woods?

Ok..that answers my question before...I squandered my bright futures...I went to FAU for 1 semester and then got married...you can have what I didn't use!!! I really doubt that I am going back anytime soon (well it expired probably about 4 years ago...I think you have to enroll in a certain amount of classes within 6 years or something). I don't know how you do it with 2 kids!

>>They realized it wasn't how much you pay for your degree but how much you learn in the process of getting it.<<

OK...come on guys. I actually have friends who went to Harvard (no yale or princeton friends), but they are really freaking smart and worked their butts off. I have one friend who went on a financial need based scholarship (as that is all they give...maybe sports, but no acedemic), and he worked his butt off to live in his crappy little studio in NY where his genius languishes as he is now in some theatre school! But I digress, really though it is not fair to put down these schools because of one poster (or president for that matter).

Well, darn it! I would have gladly taken your Bright Futures. And, you went to Find Another University? *giggle* Don't feel bad... I went there too for a semester. But, paying out of pocket got REALLY old REALLY fast.

I have really never been to public school, but I think that it is comparable to FAU...ick. I showed up maybe 4 times and still got straight A's. I had the highest grade in my sociology class (crap I can't even spell the word) and I went to that class once. It was sad. In my calc class we were learning to multiply and divide fractions!!! WTF..I know fl sucks in education, but really.

Oh don't feel bad for not going to UM. My bestest friend went there for a semester and hated it. She described it as pretty much just a more expensive FAU. She ended up getting some great scholarships from Nova and is working on her masters now (well she would be long since done if she didn't get herself in a crappy relationship). If I do go back, as I would really like to become a hospice nurse at some point in life, I will probably go to nova because I can do the vast majority on-line. If no scholarships there will be no way though it is super expensive now.

I sure won't. It has been proven that they are nothing but overly priced for what you get.
