Formula risks...I believe

  • Formula has risks that are unacceptable if breastmilk is available
  • Formula has risks but it's OK to choose it if you understand the risks
  • Formula has risks but it's OK to choose it even if you DONT understand the risks
  • Formula has some risks but they are overblown
  • Formula has risks but so does breastmilk, and the risks are about the same
  • Formula doesn't have any risks
  • Other, please explain

Who determines/determined how tainted the milk is? What is it tainted with?

"It's that "I wanna be just like my big brudder" thing. :-)"

Yeap... That's exactly what it is... LOL!

"You did the best you could"

See, I disagree though. I do think I did the best I could WRT pumping. But, I think I just allowed myself to give in to the nursing strike too easily. Oh well... I don't feel guilty or anything. I do feel good knowing that I did nurse him for a full year, and then did some nap and dream feeds for 2 months after. I'm just disappointed that I didn't make it to 2 1/2 years like I wanted. Oh well, as I said... Next kid, I'll go longer. *shrug*

"BTW, and longer than a lot of people."

Yeah, it is...

"And I can't believe he's 17 months already!! He was just born, wasn't he? ;-)"

I know! Darn children! They grow up too fast!

"My "baby" will be four years old in *sob* 9 days!"

Trey's going to be 3 the day after Christmas. *sobs with you*
