Just out of curiosity, why would all of us want to twist your words or accuse you of making claims you didn't make? What would be the benefit to that? Have you spent much time on this board, and have you seen other posters tortured the way you are portraying yourself to be? Oh, and before you say "I never said I was being tortured!", I am aware that you did not say it. "Tortured" is my word, and my interpretation of how you are reacting to this debate.
Is it at all possible that *you* are the one with the problem?

We were talking about "benefits of FF"? When? Where? Are you having your own little debate over there? In the context of the link I gave you, we were discussing the risks of hospitalization for FF babies, which are greater than those for BF babies by a factor of 10-13, depending on the source. Where do "benefits of FF" come into the picture in that context?
I'll ask you myself, since you have answered neither Debbie, nor Toni:
Are the risks greater for hospitalization in BF or FF babies? If you feel there is no difference, as you have claimed (and don't tell me you didn't!), then please produce a source to back up that opinion.
And while we're on the topic of producing sources, how's that leaky-gut research coming along? Swimmingly, I am sure. ;O)
It depends, some people may not think it's a risk at all.

If you note in the first quote you listed, we weren't discussing a single study but a report and recommendation based upon more than one study.

I find it interesting that anyone here can claim to know the answers about all children, regardless of all the factors that go into a child's health.
So there you go....but that is what drew me into this converation to begin with.
