Maybe I'm having a bad day, but I really just don't get the, "Happy Mommy=Happy Baby" mentality when someone throws it out there in defense of formula feeding. Where exactly can I get one of these babies who is automatically happy because I am? Can I trade mine in for that model? LOL (just kidding, of course). I am just really tired of reading that and hearing that.
Sorry, just had to vent. I was feeling left out of the monster threads :)

BTW, I always wondered - why did you go the nursing route?
Long story short, my family wanted a doctor.
My mom has been married 6 times, IKWYM
Six?!
Yup, six. One before my Dad, then my Dad, and I've had four stepfathers. Is it really any wonder I'm not terribly adept at relationship matters? She's been with the last man for ten years now, and he's a pretty swell guy. But I never understood the attraction or dynamics. I'm just happy they seem to be okay, I guess.
As for you and school - that's quite a tale! I know what ya mean about quick cash though - I make almost the same amount as my recently graduated nursing friend if I'm working full time. Though, she does get sweet benefits, and all I get is a 20% discount at IHOP, bwahaha
What are you watning to go back to school for, eventually?

One of my co-workers was w/ her DH for 15 years (and had a 12 yo son) before they got married.

Well, yeah. I'd say that's a different story!

My dad was number 3, but my sister went through three step fathers, so I understand WYM about the relationship issues.

LOL No! Thank G*d I never married that man! Hahaha!
LOL, yeah, my mistake for being 18 and impressionable.
My DH sort of did the same thing, politics/pre-med and then switched courses largely because of me and wanting to have a life w/o dealing with residency,
