Is there anywhere you feel it is completely inappropriate to nurse in public?

Sure. For formula feeding I put the amount of water in the bottle, add in the correct scoops, shake well, and it is ready to feed. I don't warm the bottle. Of course when I start using whole milk at 1 year birthday I will need to warm that (because my baby won't take anything chilled). I will need to carry a cooler to keep the milk cold (don't want a bottle of milk setting out at all).

You'd express milk at 7am and leave it without cooler, without cool pack in a diaper bag and use it at 3 or 4?

I wouldn't.

>>you'll encounter unsupportive women who find your acts disensitive, unpolite, illmannered and unclassy -- to quote some women on this board<<

She said TO QUOTE some women on this board, not implied.

You are failing to understand that the normal temerature of breastmilk is body temperature. While that is not safe for formula or cow's milk, it is for breastmilk.~Lisa

But to express milk at 7am to use at 3 and not be refrigerated, cooled, cool pack, or anything? I couldn't do it, I just couldn't.

Sometimes I'm out even longer. That is normal thing.

Sometimes an implication is just as strong as a direct quote. As a bf I have gotten the feeling that some of the ffs are wishy washy on the subject of bfip. First we are told that we must be discreet, then we are told if someone else is uncomfortable we should do the polite thing and excuse ourselves to another room. Which is it?

I can't answer what would be the thing to do since every situation is different and every bf'er is different.

Well I can say never because I just could not do it. To me it equates leaving the pizza out instead of putting it right into the refr or freezer & then going back to eat it say 3hrs later. EEW!

Well I never babysit so guess I won't have to think about it ha!

I have to ask, is it important that ONLY mom have the skin on skin contact, that closeness in order to create the bond.

Is the bond w/mom going to be jeopardized, broken or less
