My 2 year old has weaned herself.

I know I have done a great thing nursing her for two years. She decided she doesn't need to nurse anymore and this is bittersweet for me. I am happy she has done it on her own but sad because she is most likely my last baby. I am sad to close this chapter of my life:( I just need a hug today, sniff sniff.~Lisa

It's wonderful that you nursed her for so long. You should be proud of yourself!! I know how sad it is to stop nursing. I am also nursing my last child and I am in no way looking forward to stopping when the time comes for us. Look forward to the next stages of her life!! She may not need your breast for nourishment, but she still needs your guidance for life!!!!!

Hugs to you, Lisa! I'm sure that's such a bittersweet time. I hope you stick around here though - I've really enjoyed your posts.

Go have yourself a huge caffeinated latte! That's what I used to do when we were TTC and AF came. :)

How did it happen? YK, it's not impossible she could come back to it if it's sudden... did well! :-)
