Let us know what happens!

I am interested to notice that originally Facebook said they would remove any picture with a nipple or aerola showing. Now they are saying any exposed breast. I wonder, does that include low cut tops in profile pictures?

Okay so I haven't done anything on FB for months but this got me riled up. I posted a pic of my DD breastfeeding to sleep to see what happens. There is nO areola showing, just a sliver of the top of my breast. Really I show more boob when DH and I go out to dinner lol. Already one of my friends likes it:

I have been following, though not too closely, some of the posts on Facebook about this. Pictures of children (completely clothed) pretending to breastfeed their dolls have been removed. Notes and posts in support of those whose pictures have been removed. Accounts are being suspended and removed, woman are being banned from opening a new account.

Facebook Pages that were created to support and educate nursing mothers are hassled, harassed and shut down.

Facebook has removed just about every single member of the group "Hey Facebook: Breastfeeding is not Obscene!!"- the original petition group set up in 2007 to try and stop Facebook from deleting photos. The group at one point had over 265,000 members in it. This morning the numbers dropped to under 100.

They are compiling the pictures deleted by Facebook here:

Lots of pictures of the nurse-ins in front of Facebook offices today:

It is important to note that photos upon which we act are almost exclusively brought to our attention by other users who complain about them being shared on Facebook."
