NIP Article - reader's comments

Here's an seemingly innocent article on a nurse-in at an Applebees. However, if you read the reader comments...boy oh boy! Talk about some ignorant remarks. One of them even equated NIP to smoking! Unbelievable. I thought it would be a good thing to discuss on here, especially since our resident FF/anti-NIP'ers are feeling underrepresented.

No, but you're claiming that "most" don't, and that I am an "exception to the rule". YOUR words, not mine!>>
Thank you.

This is rich coming from someone who brags about getting up at 4:30 am to pump milk so that strangers aren't potentially made to cover their eyes to keep them from burning at the sight of a mom NIP. Funny.
Well, if Wikipedia says it....
Here's the definition of *unemployed* from Dictionary.com:
un·em·ployed

Again, who wrote this "rule"? I know plenty of moms who continue to be engorged and leak LONG after their supplies are established. The supply is established after the first 6 weeks or so post-partum, and leaking can and does continue for a lot longer in many of us! There is no "general rule" when it comes to something that everyone's body may take to differently.

Now your commentary is veering off into the senseless. Who said anything about "Mommy Olympics"? I didn't say I was proud to be leaking at 2 years PP. I don't see it as an accomplishment at all. I really have no clue what you are trying to get at.
"I refuse to endanger the safety of my older children by limiting my movement NIP.

Front carrier or sling for nursing?
If you can deal with being uncomfortable, can't those offended by a mom feeding her baby deal with their discomfort?
