I can't believe Kylie is almost 3! Can I talk you into posting some new pics in the fluffy folder? :-)
WRT your situation...there are always exceptions and as you know we go to great lengths to not debate the exception. You didn't have a choice. Therefore, saying formula was best for your baby as a choice doesn't even really apply to you. Formula was certainly better than the alternative, and your almost 3-year old cuddlebug is proof positive of that.
Spud, if you wouldn't mind, as a FFer can you tell ospinasgirl just how badly we make you feel around here? Because she seems to be under the impression that we as a group think all FFers should be thrown into a big fire or somethin.' Which is funny considering that the majority of our posters HAVE used formula...

Oh, I was just adding to a train of thought - which started out with ospinasgirl00's post about BFing moms & MSG - and that, TIC of course, we should be avoiding those foods because they are "life-threatening" - and that she'd never read anything about formula being "life-threatening".
It was late, long past my bed-time (though I'm not

I've read stories of moms getting non-nursing babies to latch on at a later date, and helped my cousin get her 6m old back on the breast after FF for 5 months. He only comfort nursed, but even that was important to her
Not the same thing, but when Michael went on a week-long nursing strike, I had lots of baths together and slept with both of us naked from the waist up. During that week, the only time he would latch is when he was in the bath or almost asleep - otherwise he would scream and arch away if I tried. It

I'm sorry Spud. It must hurt to remember those early days.
I also sometimes feel like I just dont belong anywhere or have nothing to contribute to alot of these threads. I wanted to Bf and couldnt too. So I got stuck with formula (nasty, smelly, predigested formula at that...ewww).
Just wanted to show you some love. I think you did the best thing that you could. No one can ask for more.
